Story time

Yesterday Hattie saw me writing in my journal and asked me what it was. I told her it was a place where I wrote down stories of what happened to me. She immediately wanted to write in it, but I told her she had to know how to read and write before she could have a journal. So, she grabbed a piece of paper and said she was going to write a story. This is what she wrote:

#1-I'm impressed you keep a journal. Kudos to you.

#2-How much did you help her with that? I can see you must be doing reading lessons as her "a" is not the "a" most kids would be taught. I'm very impressed! That is really amazing! I've never tried having Jonas or Anson write something. I wonder what they'd come up with.

Hope you're sleeping.

Hattie loves to write. She is always asking me how to spell stuff. She came up with the content all on her own. Mom and I would help her sound out the words, and usually she could figure out what letter it was, but sometimes we had to tell her. But she knows how to write all her letters without much help.
