A dream come true, perhaps

Today at church the bishopric announced that the stake is selling a piano for $100! I immediately ignored Hattie's squirming and listened up. They don't know what condition it is in, or even what kind it is, but anyone interested could give their name to the bishop, and their name would be entered into a drawing for the lucky winner (who still has to pay the dough). So we are crossing our fingers VERY tightly in hopes that we win. I just hope everyone else forgot about it by the time church was over so that the pool will be really small. Wish us luck!

We are rooting for you. We got a piano for free right after we got married and have been so grateful ever since. We hope you win.

Yeah! Mark would LOVE to have a piano. We almost picked up a free one but decided we didn't have room. Hope you get it. Thanks for sending on the recipe thing. I felt bad not sending it on since my aunt sent it to me, so I tried to pick people who I thought would pass it on and actually enjoy getting some new recipes. And not hate me for sending spam snail mail. :)

Good luck! My second daughter just informed me the other day that we needed one. "I just know I could make beautiful music" She is such a character!!

Oooo wouldn't that be the coolest? Good luck! Pianos are wonderful to have with little ones! Funny, a friend gave us our piano (they inherited a better one) the week before I was called to be the branch & primary pianist. Lucky, eh?

Hey Melanie....Who knows if you even remember me, but I just had to make a comment. I look at your blog every once in awhile...I found it on Crystal's. So did you win the piano? Just so you know I'm not some crazy person my name will come up as brooke knudsen, but it was long ago brooke burningham.
